Visitation and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

Mission: The mission of Visitation & Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament Ministry is to provide a sacred space for all to adore Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament.

Meetings: Visitation and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament meets Thursday evenings in the Adoration Chapel: 105 South Pleasant Street from 7:00PM to 8:00PM. We do not meet on the 2nd Thursday of the month and in the months of July and August.

Objective: To recruit, organize, and encourage fellow parishioners who are so called to commit to one hour per week of Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament.

• 2 Adorers per hour 8 hours per day Monday – Friday.
• 20 substitutes for our regular Adorers.

Goal: To develop a ministry of prayerful support to each other, fellow parishioners, and the needs of our parish, the Church and the world. Jesus in the Most Holy Sacrament is the fire of love within the heart of our parish community. The success of the parish depends on people in faithful prayerful Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament outside of The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. We, Adorers, hold the space for those who cannot be present with us before our Lord in the Adoration Chapel. This is a ministry bigger than “just me” or for my needs solely. It is a ministry of the parish. Sometimes there are those that cannot be physically active in the parish ministries therefore Adoration becomes the perfect place for them to serve.

Ministry Responsibilities:

• Art & Environment within the Adoration Chapel
• Recruitment and development of Adorers
• Roster of Adorers and Substitutes contact information.
• All materials in both English and Spanish
• Morning of Reflection - 2 times per year
• Exposition & Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament for the Solemnities of:
  • The Epiphany
  • Divine Mercy
  • Corpus Christi
  • Christ the King

Adoration Hours: Two Adorers are needed for every hour to sit with our Lord every hour. Please consider making a commitment. The hours for adoration are Monday - Friday 9:00AM - 5:00PM.

Misión: La misión de la Visitación y la Adoración del Santísimo Sacramento Ministerio es proporcionar un espacio sagrado para todos a adorar a Nuestro Señor en el Santísimo Sacramento.

Meetings: El Ministerio de Visitacion y Adoracion del santisimo se junta cada Jueves de las 7:00pm - 8:00pm en la Capilla de Adoracion: 105 South Pleasant Street. No hay junta el segundo Jueves de el mes ni los meses de Julio y Agosto.

Objetivo: Reclutar, organizar y animar a los feligreses que son los llamados a comprometerse con una hora semanal de adoración ante el Santísimo Sacramento.

• 2 Adoratrices por hora 8 horas diarias Lunes - Viernes.
• 20 sustitutos para nuestros Adoratrices regulares.

Meta: Desarrollar un ministerio de apoyo de la oración el uno al otro , los feligreses , y las necesidades de nuestra parroquia , la Iglesia y el mundo. Jesús en el Santísimo Sacramento es el fuego del amor en el corazón de nuestra comunidad parroquial. El éxito de la parroquia depende de los fieles en la oración de la adoración ante el Santísimo Sacramento fuera de El Santo Sacrificio de la Misa. Nosotros, Adoratrices, mantenemos el espacio para aquellos que no pueden estar presentes con nosotros antes nuestro Señor en la Capilla de Adoración . Este es un ministerio más grande que " sólo yo " o para mis necesidades únicamente. Es un ministerio de la parroquia. A veces hay personas que no pueden estar físicamente activa en los ministerios de la parroquia por lo tanto, la adoración se convierte en el lugar perfecto para que sirven.

Responsabilidades del Ministerio:

• Arte y Medio Ambiente en la Capilla de la Adoración
• Reclutamiento y desarrollo de Adoratrices
• Lista de Adoratrices y Suplentes de información de contacto.
• Todos los materiales , tanto en Inglés y Español
• Mañana de Reflexión - 2 veces al año
• Exposición y Adoración del Santísimo Sacramento por las Solemnidades:
  • La Epifanía
  • La Divina Misericordia
  • Corpus Christi
  • Cristo Rey

Horas de Adoracion: se necesitan dos adoradtrices cada hora que este abierta la capilla. Por favor considere hacer este compromiso. Las horas de Adoracion son Lunes - Viernes 9:00AM - 5:00PM.
