Philosophy of Saint Anne's School
Saint Anne's Catholic School holds primary beliefs in God, the Catholic Church, the value of the human person and a commitment to a mission of service.
We believe:
that every person, as a child of God, regardless of race, religion, conditions or age is worthy of dignity and has the right to an equal education;
that every person needs to perceive his/her self-worth, to receive and give love and respect in order to become a healthy, mature and free human being. We recognize every person as a part of creation and a member of the family of God;
that every person has the right and the responsibility to develop their fullest intellectual capabilities and unique talents. They can contribute in the work of building a more Christian nation and world;
that parents are the primary educators and we support them in guiding their children to true freedom and a fuller humanity in all areas of their lives ... religious, holistic, academic, cultural, physical, moral and social, according to the example of Christ so that all people might learn from Him to live more fully. This development of students is encouraged by structuring an educational climate which promotes knowledge, personal growth and self-discipline. Within this supportive environment, our students are challenged to become capable of making decisions in a life of service and witness to the message of the Word of God;
that Saint Anne's Catholic School is dedicated to the ideals of a living faith community in which mutual trust, mutual respect and mutual responsibilities are living examples for all.
